Ken Foree Accepts First-Ever Salem Horror Award

Actor Ken Foree, most known for his role as the heroic helicopter pilot in Dawn of the Dead, was presented the first-ever Salem Horror Award in honor of the late Duane Jones for his contribution to the horror genre as being one of the first positive depictions of a person of color in the hero role in George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead. Ken Foree is also featured in many of Rob Zombie's films, cult horror classics like From Beyond and Death Spa, and played the father of Keenan and Kel.
